Woman: Hello and welcome to Exlusive Weekend, I am Frauke Ludowig. A red carpet in Karlsruhe, (some other topics)
R: Screaming alarm in Karlsruhe; Tokio Hotel and their performance at the Radio Regenbogen Awards (Rainbow awards).
Bill: It’s always hard to give everybody autographs, we’re always so sorry about that because they all have been standing there for so long, some of them even since half past five I’ve heard. But we always do our best, they have screamed a bit.
R: More about Bill and co later.

R: Those are the fans of Tokio Hotel, and that is the band Tokio Hotel. And this is a live performance of Johannes Hesters. Please no admiring, but he certainly caused that this weekend at the Radio Regenbogen Award. The most successful teenage band of that time with the oldest lead singer ever; the over one hundred years old “Jopie” Hesters.
Verona Pooth (V): It’s just indescribable. I mean, how he sings; so concentrated, and how he remembers the text. I mean, he did exactly the right thing; he charmed the people. They were all speechless, young and old; everyone was inspired. So I must declare my great respect for him.
Christine Neubauer (Ch): The jump from Jopie Hesters to Tokio Hotel is just great, isn’t it?
R: But you have to admit; the screaming at the red carpet was definitely for the boys from Magdeburg and even during the show it must have been heard far from here.
Woman: Are you in love with someone of Tokio Hotel?
Girls: [Screaming] Bill/Tom/Bill I love you etc
Otther girls: [Screaming]
Woman: Have you seen them from very close?
Girls: YES!
R: The arrival of Tokio Hotel, shortly after eight ‘o clock at the “Schwarz Walt Hall” in Karlsruhe. Bill, tom, Georg and Gustav don’t keep to the dress code. But that would have been pretty “un-cool” for their targetgroup; Tokio Hotel has an image to remain true to.
Woman: Do you think your fans would forgive you when you would all appear at the red carpet with a girl by your side?
Tom: No idea, but –
Bill: Well, next to the fact that we wouldn’t do that anyway –
Tom: But I think that when we would have girlfriends our fans would accept it, but –
Woman: Do you finally have any girlfriends at the moment?
Tom/Bill: No, still none.
Georg: There’s no time.
Bill: We’re all single
Tom: But we would definitely say it when we wouldn’t.
Bill: Yes, we would just tell, but at the moment we have very little time, so there’s certainly no time for a good relationship.
Woman: But we can be sure that a couple of these girls will be standing in front of your hotel rooms this evening, can’t we?
Bill: That could be, yes.
Woman: Will you let anyone in?
Tom: Well, we’ll have to see what we get. You’re not really rejecting then [Laughs]
R: So speaks a sixteen-year-old, and then he self-consciously talks about the female stars, just like his brother.
Woman: How should she be? (Possible girlfriend)
Tom: We all don’t really tie ourselves down on that.
Bill: Eva Longoria, Olsen twins, Angelina Jolie…
Tom: Yes [Laughs]
R: Wish and reality; how will they tell them apart when the time comes? As national stars, and even as international stars, like Mel C, they steal the show. But no one calls the boys – Tom here hides behind his big bodyguard – bad.
Woman: Now you meet the boys from Tokio Hotel at the red carpet for the second time in half a month!
Mel C: I know! Tokio Hotel’s fans always receive me extremely nice.
Woman: Can you explain all the screaming to me?
Mel C: Of course! They’re cute guys, they make great music; they rock ‘n roll. The girls love them!
R: And also Verona looked simply adoring at the whole spectacle.
Verona: They are cute, I want to take all of them home, I think they’re hot!
R: And the fans also thought Benno Fürmann was hot too. The star of Die Sturmflut (German movie) had totally underestimated his success with the teenagers, and in the beginning he totally doesn’t want to believe it (not sure).
Benno Fürmann: I must be looking young tonight, what do you think?
Woman: How does this feel then?
Benno Fürmann: I had never expected to be confused with Tokio Hotel once, because I’m here on my own today. But that’s a good thing, isn’t it? Because those guys are how old? Seventeen?
Woman: You’re not confused with anyone, because Tokio Hotel has already passed here! I quote; Benno you horny beast!
Benno Fürmann: Thank you for repeating that so charming.
R: And somehow he likes it after a while, but for no one people show as much respect as for Johannes Hesters tonight. When his wife Simone leads the 102-year-old across the carpet the screaming stops; the fans – also those of Tokio Hotel – join the applause.
Woman: For them they’ve screamed so loud and for you it’s more like a standing ovation at the red carpet. How happy does that make you?
Johannes Hesters: It is a surprise but a good surprise.
Woman: It’s almost like a miracle; the vitality you still walk over the carpet with!
Johannes Hesters: You haven’t seen me walking over the carpet yet.
Woman: I did, just yet!
Johannes Hesters: Oh, that’s already here!
Simone: Yes, it is! [Laughs] His sight isn’t to good anymore.
Johannes Hesters: I can’t see it, can I continue now?
Woman: Go ahead, and I wish you a very good evening.
Johannes Hesters: Thank you, that’s very nice.
R: And it was very clever, we thought, that Günther Jauch arrived at the very last minute. Did he want to avoid the questions about his coming marriage?
Woman: The very last guest! Where have you been all that time?
Günther Jauch: Someone had forgotten his bicycle at the airport so we had to go back aigain, but further everything went fine.
R: So it wasn’t planned, but of course he hasn’t told anything personal. But when Jauch receives the prise for the Mediaman of the year from Verona it still got “intimate” somehow…
Verona: Is your wife here today?
Günther Jauch: No, why do you ask? Oh…
[Kiss]
R: The “sealed with a kiss” ending of an evening on which one of the guys of Tokio Hotel celebrated his birthday. Georg, the oldest of the group, was nineteen.
Woman: What do you want?
Georg: We have a rule in the band that we don’t give each other presents.
Woman: No wishes?
Georg: No
Woman: Will you celebrate some more?
Bill: Well, I think we have to get up at about nine tomorrow, so I don’t think we’ll celebrate very much longer, but we’ll certainly toast (You know, with drinks. Don’t know how to put it differently)
R: Almost ninety years lay between Jopie Hesters and Tokio Hotel, and just guess who stayed longer at the after show-party.
Well, at half past one, Tokio Hotel went to bed, and this image was really made even later.
