We are talking about four billionaire boys. I think without make-up and bodyguards we would think that they are just high-school students who skipped PE to slingshot some beer cans. Instead of that we talk about almost worldstars to whom millions of teenage girls are screaming even - I couldn't believe it - in Hungary. Tokio Hotel visited us yesterday - it is worth seeing how many fans they have here. They say that until now only the Beatles had that big enthusiasm around them. Screaming girls, eyes filled with tears, placards had been made for weeks - all of that is because of some teenage boys.

These young girls worship like others did before - just in Hungary. Tokio Hotel had a show yesterday night at 11.00 pm, these shots were taken yesterday at 2.oo pm.

They are the so-called hard core fans who are able to stand almost ten hours in front of the fence, to be the first to get into the venue. But who do they like that much?
Bill and Tom are twins and they've been playing music since they were 7 years old. In 2001 they and two other guys, Georg and Gustav founded a band these are the first shots of the band.

But the real breakthrough was the last year, when an entire management stood behing them, and during a half year the earned 5,2 million euros, that is 1,2 billion forints. Though they are just teenagers, their lyrics are about pain, divorce and split. Yesterday we met the stars personally.
"There are people in our age that experienced a lot, for example our parents divorced when we were 6 years old. We know exactly what pain is. You can feel it when you are young as well."
Their concerts are sold out everywhere. Their fans scream in the same way in Germany, or in Hungary. The most popular is Bill, the singer, who uses make up since he was 10 and who mostly looks like a Japanish cartoonfigure.

"Why Bill?"
"I don't know, he is so cute and nice, but here is Tom too."
The screaming doesn't stop in front of the stage either, the girls are longing for a glance or a touch.
"HAve you got girlfriends?"

It is probably known for these girls too, directly before the concert, some declares love while screaming, some on cardboard.

They're such big stars: What proves it is that after the concert even to the VIP bar they are accompanied by bodyguards.
"The Hungarian audience surprised us very much. We thought that we were coming for the first time, they won't know us so much, but the mood was awesome, we'll definitely come back." ( and they came yaaay )
And one more thing. Bill's nails got my attention immediately.
"Have you got artificial nails?"
"No, I polish them."
"I don't believe it"
"Doch..."
They are very young, extremely rich and incredibly popular. But still just 16 years old. If they're fed up with this hysteria and are homesick, they cancel everything and run home to mom.

To Bill: How long do you need for styling?
Bill: Actually no longer than the others. I would say around 10-15 minutes for everything . I'm very good at this, so it really goes fast. But there are days where I'm not in the mood to do it and then I look like him (Tom).
Tom: But I still look better but he is talking himself into it.....
Bill: Anyways, we look very similar then.
To Bill: Did you style yourself like this always?
Bill: Always. The boys got to know me like this. We're together since six years now, I think. Tom and I started to make music when we were seven and then we were looking for a bassist and drummer and that was when we met the two six years ago. And they only know me like this. I started really aerly with styling.
Bill and Tom....... aren't you to skinny?
Tom: We can eat what we want to and were always slim. It always was like that.
Bill: Ja, we can eat what we want and just don't gain weight. I think we just burn the calories very well. We were already thinking someone should impose this as a kind of sport, because if you're on stage performing for 90 minutes that is actually high performance sport. And we just played two tours.
What do you say to people who don't like you?
Tom: Basically it's totally normal. It's with every band, I mean we also have bands we don't like and this is really something normal and we respect if people don't like our music. Each of us is listening to different music and ist's no problem.
Parents
Bill: We've had the luck that we got a lot freedom. They never restricted something or told us what to do.
Tom: Of course is there always a certain caution because I think parents are always.......
Bill: Surely they worry, but we always had a good relationship. We never had to be scared to say something or we never had to accomodate.
Do you see yourself as superstars?
Bill: I think no one sees himself as superstar but there is no discussion that Germany is in need of superstars. But we ourselves don't see us as superstars. We're the same as before.
Sometimes we even forget and go out on the streets and then we're surprised that people recognize us etc.
I really forget it sometimes that people know me and that I'm famous.
To Tom: Basecaps
Tom: I collect them. I probably have around fifty caps.
Georg and Gustav..... Don't you have to say something?
Georg: We talk less but if we have to say something we do it.
Gustav: We're the more quiet ones of the band and talk not much anyways. So, it's normal.
