Georg - In fact, we have met us in a music academy. We practically were already friends. One evening, we have gone in a concert where each can go up on stage and do what he wants. That's here that we have met the others [Bill & Tom].

Tom - Of course it's very important to us to come home and see our family and our friends when we have some days off. We obviously talk about differents things and we scarcely ever refer to the band or our projects. As regards to Bill and me who have the same friends and obviously the same family, we have a private life in common but it always has been like this. But those persons are very important, they enable us to break away from our day to day lives. But on the other hand we like to go away together with the band, it's close to my heart.

Bill - You can't even imagine all the presents we receive every day. We even receive letters which are so long. We receive poems, cards. We see beautiful and incredible things. So it's impossible to choice something. Honnestly, there's nothing better than an other 'cause they all have a special knack. Some fans tell us very personal stories. The whole presents are unique and so precious.

Tom - It's a really difficult question. I don't prefer one or the other. From the moment there is something between us, if we're connected [connected ? linked ? Georg - When we're on tour, we have some time for us. We often play ping-pong. We wake teams and then we fight with people who are on tour with us.
Tom - And if we're not on tour, there is a thing we like to do above all (except Gustav who don't like sleeping) : we rise very late. Sleeping, sleeping, sleeping, eating, watching TV a bit then sleeping, sleeping, sleeping and sleeping. And if we have some more of free time, we go away and what we like above all is the little islands far far away.

It's true that in Germany there are many bands who have been launched by reality shows and castings. Then they're been put on the stage by the medias. So it's quite hard for the real bands to have one's place in the sun. Moreover, once you're on the spotlight, the most difficult is stay there. It's not easy to prove that you're a real band and not a marketing product. A proud rock star looks like that!
Tom Kaulitz poses on the hood of his new dreamcar like a big player!
But then the driver`s newbie takes a seat at the front passenger seat yet.
Ex-racedriver Klaus Nidwitz makes a driver`s-security-training with the 18 years old and poser Tom becomes suddenly very subdued.
Tom:
“Thank goodness I haven`t been through a lot of exciting things in the normal road traffic. It was relatively relaxed.
Today I learned here at the test area, what could happen and how I can and above all, how I have to react in special situations.”
And so it looks, when Tom goes into a skid at the professional driver`s training.
That leads to the question, whether the car makes not only the driver more attractive, but also the front passenger?
Tom:
“Yeah, but in the end I don`t need that, because I have already so much sex appeal. No, it`s a nice car! It fits to me, I think! And I can handle it well, though it`s big.”
Bill:
“It won`t attract attention! You can drive relaxed through the city….”
His brother Bill is especially happy about the new car, because he still doesn`t have a driver`s license.
Bill:
"I`m now the only one in the band, who has no driver`s license, because unfortunately I didn`t make it. For that reason the others have to drive me through the area all the time. And it`s obvious, that Tom drives me from A to B. That is really good, I have to say! I enjoy that!”
Tom has still to friend with his new American car, but soon he himself will be at the wheel for driving his brother and bandmates through the area.

Bill: Hi, we are Tokio Hotel! We want to thank you the awesome trip to Portugal.
Gustav: I'm Gustav and I play the drums.
Bill: I'm Bill, the vocalista and I write the lyrics for Tokio Hotel.
Tom: I'm Tom and I play the guitar. Really well, for sure.
Georg: I'm Georg and I play the bass.
Bill: We had a band with other name, but we want one with more sense. We looked for a logo that was about to show that we are urban people. And one name that should be equal everywhere, with the same meaning. We choosed Tokio because it sounded well, we never went there, but it's maybe a really good city. And big.
Gustav: I like to listen to Foo Fighters and Metallica. and I also like Korn and Rage Against the Machine.
Tom: I listen to Hip Hop. It maybe doesn't make sense as a guitarist but I'm a big fan of Hip Hop.
Georg: I'm fan of Oasis for a long time, I like Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance... That kinds of music.
Bill: I've complety different tastes. I listen to Green Day, Placebo, Coldplay. Sometimes Keane and I listen to Nena for a long time.
Bill: We always had a lot of freedom since we were little kids, in terms of criativity and look. We almost could do everything we wanted to. I did my first piercing when I was 13 years ond. Our parents weren't that hard with us.
Bill: We had been here for two years ago at the MTV Europe Music Awards. We came has guests and, in that time, we were complety unknown. We saw the program, but this is the first time that we come to give a concert, has band and there were fans at the airport, we were totally amazed with that! We understood that we have many fans. We were very happy, we were not really expecting that reception that we had and we are also happy to came here the next year to play a concert. We have a tour in March and we will come to Portugal.
