The pop years – The years of 2000
A happy hello and welcome to the show for the pop years of 2000. Today we will present you the year 2005, and there is a pop trend that shines right now, that is still available thanks to many girls with bad skin and scream potential, which would be the comeback of the boy groups.
After the BSB, Take That, NSYNC, Boyzone and Westlife all ended up leaving, the boy groups of 2005 are back again.

(Then all the random people talking)
Well, it’s really not my taste in music...
You like it and then you don’t like it...
If you survived the boy band madness in the 90’s, then you can somehow live with the 3 or 2...however many we have these days...

There are 2 boy bands; average age is 16 that the girls these days are favouring. The German “Garage Band” Tokio Hotel, against the American-English-German casting band US5.

Random ppl:
US5 can’t be compared to Tokio Hotel...
One is pop, the other is pop-rock...
Ying and Yang, the 2 worlds colliding with one another...
TH vs. US5...TH clearly won that run...for me.

The backyard band from Magdeburg has caused a lot of talk. Their Debut single “Durch den Monsun” shot from # 0 to #1 and is there for 21 weeks, in the single charts. The fans of the twin brothers Bill and Tom, and their band members are unable to be stopped.

Random ppl:
That was the beginning of a huge career...
What those girls do is pretty awesome... (The transvestite is being sarcastic)
That is a very particular style, that is internationally famous, (names all the countries...Israel, France,Russia, etc...)
They are from bottom to top themselves, they have played it out themselves...
They didn’t have any castings and have worked for it for what it was worth...
Its probably the most famous transvestite show of all times... (again the trannie is being sarcastic)

No one polarises more with his looks as strong as Bill Kaulitz, who was only 16 at the time and is the crush of all the girls.

Randoms again:
The first thing that I thought was “is this a girl or a boy?”...
You can’t copy that, it’s his own style...
That is exactly what’s so great about the band...it’s not the music, its Bill...
And there is US5, which is the works of big producer Lou Perlman.

Randoms:
Lou Pearlman, who found BSB, who discovered NSYNC...so of course you will be excited to see hmm...what does he have now for us?
Look, there are 5 dudes, and they are all like the dream guys of every girl, you have the shy one, the macho one, he is this, he is that...
Perfectly styled, like someone licked him... (Hair)
Somewhere in between the dancing and singing, there is some power that they have and I think it’s really good...
The girls are fainting all over the place and the songs are good, produced really well...

Their 1st single “Maria” sold over half a million copies, and landed on #1 in the German single charts, as well as the song going gold in the US and Germany. Their album “Here we go” reached platinum.

Randoms:
Hats off to them, and respect for their success...
I believe that they will be around for couple of more years... (Sarcastic)
Tokio Hotel against US5...two totally different boy groups, but both with a lot of potential for a success in the future...

Randoms:
There is always gonna be that phenomenon, since there always was music, and I think it will always be there, and I think it’s awesome....
You can think of their music what you want, but it’s great to see them what they can accomplish.
Seems to be an everyday thing now, not like a one hit wonder type of thing...
I have a lot of respect for them...
